They say that the biggest challenge for a new business is in surviving the first two years. well I'm pleased to say that we've reached the half-way point in good health, apart from the headaches generated by the 1st anniversary party when the Theakstons went down particularly well.
In looking back over our first year we've made significant progress having relocated to a fabulous converted barn, which gives us a studio environment that allows the creative juices to flow, and re-equipped with top of the range Apple Macs. Both the design and web development sides of the business are flourishing, the latter to the extent that we have just recruited another web developer. Our investment in providing services relating to the production and distribution of marketing collateral is starting to bear fruit and one of our key objectives in the early part of our second year is to secure new warehouse accommodation to allow us to provide a top class stock management and 'pick and pack' service for our customers.
So whilst we have some way to go to get through the critical first period, we're happy to report that we feel well placed, not just to survive, but to excel as we move forward.
