‘A Head of the Field’ is a picture book celebration of a £2.6 Million, five-year project charged with the renaissance of the rural economy in the North Nest of England. Brackenhill were commissioned to create a unique 28-page legacy document that illustrated how the initiative had enabled farms to diversify, thus creating jobs and improving the economy, since the devastation of foot and mouth in 2001.
The project involved Brackenhill directing several photoshoots on location and capturing the diverse farming life in North West England today.
